The Teen Afghan Hub is designed to raise awareness about the limited rights of Afghan women under Taliban rule, promote their creativity through blogs & artistic submissions, and develop English resources in partnership with both on-site and remote educators. Despite the restrictions that Afghan women constantly endure, this hub is dedicated to amplifying their voices, hosting online workshops, researching international opportunities for them, and initiating fundraising efforts that make this humanitarian crisis visible to all. These women dream of becoming surgeons and CEOs, yet must withstand the constant fear that their internet access could be severed any minute. As a way to help them accomplish their goals and advance SDG 5 (Gender Equality), we focus on projects illuminating their hope, perseverance, and fortitude.
