At the end of July the New York Academy of Sciences hosted the first annual Global STEM Alliance Summit, which brought together more than 120 students from 13 countries to gain skills, network, and interact with STEM leaders. Students from three Global STEM Alliance education programs—The Junior Academy, 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures, and Scientist-in-Residence, came together across continents and cultures to exchange ideas, discuss research, and investigate STEM careers.
