The Global Co Lab Network and LearnServe International co hosted a salon on Thursday, November 19th 2015 to bring youth empowerment organizations working in the greater Washington, DC area to share their experiences and discuss possibilities for collaboration.  Global Kids, Mikvah Challenge, The Future Project, Junior Achievement, and One World Education joined the discussion.  There are many groups working on the challenges of inner city youth empowerment but few of them work closely together.  There is an opportunity for greater synergy of effort but this will take time and leadership.
